Payment Options
The City of Prairie Home offers a variety of convenient payment options for our residents. Simply choose the option that best suits your needs.
If you'd like your bill e-mailed to you, send an e-mail with your request to cityclerk@cityprairiehome.com.
Pay On-Line
The on-line payment service is through CourtMoney.
Go to missouripayments.com and select the Agency of Prairie Home MO. Use the prefix PH- when you enter your account number, which is on your bill. CourtMoney charges a handling fee of $2 for up to a $50 payment or 4% of the total payment if over $50.
(Note: If you use CourtMoney's phone option, an additional $5 charge will be incurred.)
Pay By Mail
Mail to PO Box 39, Prairie Home MO 65068. To avoid late fees, please mail your payment at least five business days before the due date specified on your bill. (Mail is processed in Columbia and sent back to Prairie Home.)
Drop-off Location
There is a locked drop-box on the front of the building, or you may pay your bill in person during office hours. We accept checks, money orders, and cash. If paying with cash, please pay in person and verify your receipt before leaving.
Payment Through Financial Institutions
Many financial institutions offer their customers the ability to pay their bills through the bank's website. The financial institution may or may not charge a fee for the service. Payments may take up to seven business days to post to the customer's account. Please consult your bank for more information.
