Sunshine Law (open records)
Missouri's Open Records Law (Sunshine Law) provides a mechanism for the public to inspect government records. It also provides for times in which governmental bodies may elect to, or are required to, withhold government records from the public. The City of Prairie Home supports transparency within our local government.
Contact the City Clerk as Custodian of Records. Please submit requests in writing (letter, email, "contact us" link, etc.), so a record can be maintained of what was requested. The form below may be used.
Please note City Hall is open two days a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays), and Sunshine Law requests are processed on those business days accordingly.
